Our team needs your help! (But it's not a glamorous offer.)

The Competitive Edge Racing Team is doing the Green Mountain Stage Race over Labor Day weekend. Races start Friday with a short Time Trial, then a Circuit Race on Saturday, a Road Race on Sunday and a Criterium on Monday. Specifically we need help in the feed zones on Saturday for the Circuit Race and Sunday for the Road Race. More generally we could use assistance with overall logistics.

Want to help us out? We need someone who is upbeat, energetic, adventurous, smart, quick on his or her feet, wants to do something out of the norm, and wants to be part of an exciting event. How about you!

However, it doesn't come with a lot of perks. In fact, it's more just a labor of love or the risk of just doing something new and different. We'll provide meals. We'll provide endless discussions of bike gear, technology and race tactics. We get up really early and don't go out at night. We eat lots of carbohydrates and we don't drink alchohol. You might get a bed or you might get a couch or you might get a bed on the floor. And you might get a T-shirt as a way of saying Thanks.

But if you'd like to be part of a very exciting event, with one of the top teams in Masters cycling, and just want to pitch in and help -- just because it might be new and different and interesting and cool, we would love to have you contact us.

Email me: Jim Marshall at JMarshYA@aol.com

Why not? It could be a blast!
