Great ride through parts of Vermont and NY in the Cambridge/Salem area. Mostly flat to rolling hills, nothing steep. Easy to keep a nice tempo and pace going -- without missing the beauty of the countryside as you go!

Arlington Cambridge Loop from Monument

A relatively flat ride (at least for this area) that begins in Bennington, heads north via Rte 7 to Arlington, then west on 313 to Cambridge.  The mapped route then heads over Chestnut Hill to White Creek Rd, returning to the monumnet.  An alternate to Chestnut Hill would read more »

Dorset-Rupert-W Rupert-Salem-Cambridge

This ride will take you North to Rupert through the Mettowee Valley - one of the few long flat stretches in the area.  Then onto Rupert and W Rupert, skirting the base of Rupert Mt, to salem, then cambridge and back via Chestnut Hill.

This is a good hill-climbers ride.  Starting in Bennington, this 55 mi ride takes you through Williamstown, North Adams, Stamford, Searsburg and back to Bennington over Dutch Hill and Searsburg Mt.

About 100 yards east of intersection of Buck Hill Road and Route 7A, right next to the Shaftsbury Fire Station. Plenty of parking available.
